These potatoes can be enjoyed year-round! No need to wait for a special holiday. Our Crockpot Twice Baked Potatoes are perfect whenever you’re in the mood for cheesy potato goodness.
5 lb Always Save Russet Potatoes
1 stick Always Save Butter
1 tsp Always Save Garlic Powder
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp Always Save Black Pepper
1 tsp Always Save Salt
1 cup Always Save Sour Cream
2 cup Always Save Colby Jack Shredded Cheese
5 pieces of Always Save Sliced Bacon, cooked and chopped
Wash and cut the potatoes into 2-inch cubes. Place them into a large crockpot.
Top the potatoes with the garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
Stir the potatoes until the seasoning is evenly distributed.
Cut the butter into 6 to 8 slabs and place them on top of the potatoes.
Cover the crockpot and cook the potatoes on high for 3 hours, or until they are soft.
Once the potatoes are cooked, smash them with a potato masher, leaving a few larger chunks.
Stir in the sour cream and top with the cheese and bacon.
Recover the crockpot, turn the heat down to low, allowing the cheese to melt.
Serve once the cheese is melted and enjoy!
