With a little help from Best Choice, we created this ooey-gooey, chocolaty recipe that will give you a whole new love for banana bread!
Non-stick cooking spray
½ cup butter
1 ¼ cup flour
½ cup graham cracker crumbs + 1 extra graham cracker for topping
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips + ¼ cup chocolate chips
3 ripe bananas
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 chocolate bar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9×5” loaf pan or 3 mini loaf pans with non-stick cooking spray.
In a large bowl, add flour, graham cracker crumbs, baking soda and salt – whisk together. In a separate medium-sized bowl, mix together sugar, melted butter, sour cream, vanilla and eggs. Pour wet mixture over dry ingredients – stir together. Mash bananas with fork and add them into mixture – stir everything together until well combined. Then fold in 1 cup chocolate chips.
Pour batter into baking pans. Bake for up to an hour until loaves are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before removing loaves from baking pans.
Melt the remaining ¼ cup chocolate chips and smooth over cooled banana bread. Then stick mini marshmallows on top of chocolate. Break remaining graham cracker and chocolate bar into piece and add in between marshmallows. Enjoy!
