Buttermilk Drop Biscuits

Ingredients

2 cups Always Save All Purpose Flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1 tbsp Always Save Sugar

1/2 cup cold Always Save Salted Butter, cubed

1 cup whole buttermilk

DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 450°F.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar.

Add the cold butter cubes and cut them into the dry ingredients with two butter knives. Keep going until the butter is in small pea-sized pieces.

Next, add the buttermilk to bowl and whisk all the ingredients together until the dough starts to clump together.

Using a 3 tbsp cookie scoop, or a large soup spoon, drop scoops of the biscuit mixture onto a baking sheet. You should get about 12 scoops out of the dough.

In the lower third of the oven, bake for 15 minutes, or until the biscuits start to turn golden brown.
