DIRECTIONS
For the Witch Fingers:
Place one bag of the white chocolate chips into a medium size microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 20-second increments. Stir after each time in the microwave until the chocolate is smooth.
Once smooth, add 5 drops of green food dye to the chocolate and gently stir until the color is thoroughly mixed.
Prepared a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Take out about half of the pretzel rods from their packaging.
Using a spoon, coat each pretzel rod with the melted green coating, going about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up the rod.
Gently shake off any excess coating and lay each rod on the parchment paper.
When laying the pretzel rods down, gently press an almond onto the tip of the rod where a fingernail would be.
If desired, allow the chocolate to set slightly before using a toothpick to draw knuckle wrinkles on each finger.
Allow Witch Fingers to set completely before serving or storing.
For the Mummies:
Place the other bag of the white chocolate chips into a separate medium size microwave-safe bowl and microwave on high in 20-second increments. Stir the chocolates after each time in the microwave until it is smooth.
Prepared a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper. Take out the other half of the pretzel rods from their packaging.
Using a spoon, coat each pretzel rod with the melted chocolate, going about 1/2 to 2/3 of the way up the rod.
Gently shake off any excess coating and lay each rod on the parchment paper.
Once the chocolate on the pretzel rods has set slightly, take the remaining chocolate and drizzle lines back and forth on the rods to create the mummies’ bandages. After drizzling the chocolate, gently press two candy eyeballs onto the rod where the eyes would be.
Allow Mummies to set completely before serving or storing.
