DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, eggs, and oil.
Beat the ingredients together on a low speed for 30 seconds and then on medium for 2 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 4-qt crockpot.
In another bowl, whisk the milk and pudding mix together for 2 minutes.
Let the pudding stand until it soft set, about 2 minutes.
Spoon the pudding over the cake batter and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.
Cover the crockpot and cook the ingredients on high for 3 to 4 hours or until a toothpick inserted in cake comes out with moist crumbs. Serve warm and topped with Whipped Topping.
